How Does Family License For Windows & Mac Bundle work?
I tried finding more details on the licensing FAQ but didn't really find what I was looking for. Does one license in the bundle package allow me, my spouse, and two kids to use their own computers and iOS devices for 1 password and each have their own vault?
In our home we have 1 iMac (Family Computer), 2 Macbook Pros (1 mine, 1 my daughters), 1 PC Laptop, 3 iPhones (Me, Spouse, Daughter), and 3 iPads (me, spouse, son).
Will the 1 license family bundle pack with PC/Mac allow all of us to use 1Password on all these devices and each have our own vault and be able to share common logins with each other?
Thanks

Hey @Jagstyles! That's a great question. Sorry you weren't able to find the answer in the licensing FAQ. Our Software Licenses page does offer a brief answer on the number of computers allowed under each license of 1Password:
Licenses can be shared by up to six family members living in the same household.
So, in your case it would make sense to purchase the Mac + Windows Bundle. This would give you the ability to use 1Password with up to six family members' Macs and six Windows machines. It does not, however, include iOS licenses. 1Password for iOS is a free app with in-app purchases for Pro features, which means that you can start using it immediately at no cost. :)
There is no limit on the devices you can use 1Password for iOS (Pro or free) with, though it will depend on what Apple ID you use to download the app to your devices. In your case it may be best to use the same one across the board, because this will allow you to restore the Pro features on more devices than one without purchasing it multiple times. You'll need to sign in with this Apple ID when you update the app, though, so that's something to keep in mind for the future.
Will the 1 license family bundle pack with PC/Mac allow all of us to use 1Password on all these devices and each have our own vault and be able to share common logins with each other?
If you want to share your data with, say, your spouse, you can share a 1Password vault with her, but this is currently possible only using Dropbox sync. Additionally, if you want to access 1Password on your computer, you'll need to be using Dropbox sync. For a full comparison of the sync services you can use with 1Password, please refer to our guide here: https://support.1password.com/sync-options/
Hopefully that helps get things rolling. Let us know if you have any other questions. We'll be here manning the ship! :pirate:

Thanks for the detailed explanation. A few questions:
Does this mean that 1Password on iOS does not support Family Sharing? Meaning, one Apple ID user purchases the iOS pro version of 1password and all members would be able to use the app on their Apple ID or iOS device? I really want to avoid having the same Apple ID being used for this app on their devices.
I'm assuming you can share specific logins rather than an entire vault? I would have preferred sharing a Family Vault for common logins but don't think there is yet a way to view all vaults at the same time on an iOS device. So I'm thinking a work around would be to just use my 1Password vault as the master and then share specific logins that are shared across various family members.
Are there any promotions by which if I purchase the Mac/PC bundle and the pro version of iOS there is a discount or perhaps make the pro version of iOS app available to all of my other family members at no cost, assuming of course family sharing is not supported?

@Jagstyles Here are some answers:
- The app does support Family Sharing, but in-app purchases are currently not supported for Family Sharing in the App Store. You can read our Pro features FAQ for an idea of whether or not you need them on all your devices: https://support.1password.com/pro-features-faq/
- Yes, you can also share individual items from your vault. The difference between sharing a vault and a single item is that the vault will be kept up to date, but the item will not. If you make a change to the item, you'll need to send an updated copy of it to the other person using that item. Also, you are correct: We currently don't have a unified view of vaults in iOS. I would recommend giving our "Should I share an individual item or an entire vault?" article a read to get a quick understanding of how sharing works within 1Password.
- There are currently no promotions available for computer and mobile purchase combinations. At the moment there's simply no way for us to offer a discount for in-app purchases in the App Store. The only workaround is to use one or two of the same Apple IDs among your devices.
Hope that helps! :)
