1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini. since the bade upgrade .I followed the instructions

and the program quit. from your instructions ,you want me to purchase it again. program was fine until the new upgrade

    Hello @VArich,

    Have you recently upgraded to OS X 10.11 AKA El Capitan? If you have then there is a good chance you've come across an issue over the quarantine flag.

    Just to ensure there is no confusion, if you have a licence that allows you to run 1Password 5 then you are not expected to purchase anything.

    So how to fix? This post will cover what should resolve this. It's a one-off action that removes the quarantine flag, after which OS X should happily run 1Password again :smile:
