Purchased from Mac App Store for $49.99; asking me to purchase again for $29.99
Purchased from Mac App store for $49.99 in April, 2015.
When attempting to install on two additional computers the Mac App Store didn't seem to recognize my first purchase, and wanted to charge me $29.99 again. That's not how I understood the licensing to work.
Instead, I installed the software from Agile Bits hoping that I'd be able to add a license key to unlock. I can't find a license key.
I've already synced everything over Dropbox and 3rd computer, and really don't want to have to reconfigure things. What are my options?
Thanks,
Dean

Hey @dean_question! Sorry for the confusion here. If you purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store, your license can be used on any of your Macs that you sign into with the Apple ID you originally used to purchase the app. There's no known limit on this, so you should not be asked to purchase 1Password again. If you are being asked to, you may (a) be signed in with a different Apple ID or (b) have hidden the purchase in your account. If you're sure this is the Apple ID you've used, here's how to unhide a purchase:
- Launch the App Store on your Mac
- Click the Store menu and select View Account
- Under the Hidden Items section click Manage
- Look for 1Password and click Unhide
Once the purchase is unhidden, follow these steps to redownload it on a new computer:
- Still within the App Store, click the Purchases tab
- Click the Download button beside 1Password
The version of 1Password from the AgileBits Store uses a license key, but the Mac App Store version does not — it uses your Apple ID to authenticate ownership of the app. Once you work things out with the Mac App Store version, you will need to delete the AgileBits Store version so the apps don't get confused.
Once everything is set up on your new computer, you can follow this guide to set up Dropbox sync.
Let me know how it goes! :)

I found the issue with your help. I don't appear to stay signed into the App Store. After clicking on my Purchases, I'm prompted to sign in, which then shows me the opportunity to Install 1Password on the computer. It's always something simple. Thanks for your help!
