Issue with set up of Mac Desktop version and iPhone sync

I just purchased iPassword from AppStore after upgrading to MacOS El Capitan. I have been using 1Password iPhone app for a couple years, and have latest version installed there. When I launched application on Mac PowerBook, I followed prompts to create a new vault, having read that this was required to sync with my iPhone version - must have misread, because I now get error 7027 on iPhone when trying to use Wi-Fi Sync. I would like to delete Primary vault on MacBook, but cannot do so. I tried to delete app and re-install, no luck. How do I fix this issue so I can get my devices synced from my iPhone data?

    Greetings @bweber,

I do apologise, given you want to copy your iOS vault to your Mac that error message must seem pretty dumb. Now you mention Wi-Fi Sync in your post but then said iCloud in the Sync Type. Can I ask, what would be your preferred sync method? What we can do is help make sure this all gets set up properly. What I would personally advise in terms of the precise steps will differ though depending on your decision. So once we hear back from you we can proceed from there. Normally the page that Stephen_C linked you to would help but it does assume that the issue arises from people who were previously syncing while your situation is quite different. We can definitely get this working though.

Thanks, I was finally able to resolve issue by backing up and re-installing app on phone and using iCloud to sync.

    Hello @bweber,

I apologise that we weren't actively involved in helping straighten things out but it sounds like everything is working properly. Should you have any issues though please do let us know and we'll do our best to help
