1P doesn't recognize popover logins

I've lately found a number of web sites that ask for logins to have a popover where login info is to be entered. 1P doesn't seem to recognize these popovers as login entry fields and does nothing in my own experience. One such, for example is epicurious.com. Clicking the login link grays out the main page and a popover appears asking for login credentials. Is there a way for 1P to recognize such popovers as legit login screens?

I'm using 1P version 5.3.2 on a late 2012 Mac Mini running OS X 10.11

Thanks,

-Tod

    Hi @todw,

I just tried creating a test Login item at the site you referred to and didn't have any troubles creating a Login item that seemed to correctly fill the required fields. I created the Login item by following our How to manually save a Login guide and as I say, everything seemed to work. One thing I did note was that 1Password recorded two very distinct URLs, www.epicurious.com and cnid.condenastdigital.com. The latter is the pop-up dialog so if you have a Login item that is just for www.epicurious.com then we wouldn't fill as after all, you don't want to have a Login item cheerfully fill in on any random site. Now you and I both know it isn't a random site but code has to deal with absolutes.

I believe a Login item saved from within your browser will allow you to fill this site as it records the additional information required. Let us know how you get along

Hi LBT: Thanks for the very helpful advice. Following your link to manually save a login was very useful.
