Ctrl+\ is not working (Swiss keyboard)

Hi,

I followed these instructions but it does not work: https://support.1password.com/keyboard-shortcut-not-working/

With a swiss keyboard, it is impossible to make this shortcut :( In order to write "\", you have to make CTRL + ALT GR + <

Considering the foregoing, how an I invoke 1Password in my browser? I've already tried to configure an other shortcut but it does not work.

Thanks a lot for your help.

@tnalias: What do you mean? Can you tell me what's happening? I'm not sure what wold prevent you from changing the shortcut, unless you're trying to set one that is already in use by another app or Windows itself. Please let me know what you find! :)

I've found the issue. I need to make the shortcut when I want to fill automatically a password. On the Mac version, you can set a shortcut in order to search a password without having the website with the fields to fill already open.

  • Hi @tnalias,

You can do that with Control + Alt + \. You can see our list of shortcuts here: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows/4/en/topic/keyboard-shortcuts

If you change the shortcut, limit it to just Control + and when you save it, you can use Control + Alt with the character you selected.

Let me know if that helps.
