It should be clearer on your website that you have two versions of 1password, one that doesnt work with icloud. How can I switch? Thanks.

    Hi @sh2k,

Now I can process a refund for you if you wish but just before I proceed I would like to ensure this is what you want. The reason I ask is iCloud Sync makes use of the CloudKit framework. These frameworks are restricted to apps or applications obtained from one of Apple's stores and the reason I say that is 1Password for Windows is only available from our AgileBits Store and as such does not support iCloud Sync. You purchased the Mac + Windows bundle so if the goal is to synchronise across Mac and Windows iCloud will not be available to you. When you have Mac and Windows in the mixture your best, almost only option for stress free syncing is Dropbox.

If you do wish us to proceed are you wanting to still keep the Windows licence and merely want refunded for the Mac side?

Thanks for checking in @littlebobbytables. In the end I've decided to press ahead with the Dropbox sync method. So far loving 1Password. I just successfully got all my passwords out of LastPass, deleted my account, and I'm not looking back. cheers.

On behalf of littlebobbytables, you're very welcome! I'm glad you were able to get all your data into 1Password and that you're enjoying it so far.

Dropbox sync is a great option and it's how many of us here sync our 1Password data. 1Password is secure by design and your 1Password data is end-to-end encrypted, so with regard to security there's no difference between syncing 1Password data with Dropbox or iCloud. 1Password simply doesn't depend on the security of either to protect your data.

Dropbox also has the advantage that it can be used to sync secondary vaults, and also share vaults with friends, family, and co-workers (it's not currently possible to share anything between iCloud accounts). And it's the only sync solution that works across all platforms supported by 1Password: Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.

Hopefully you're all set, but if you have more questions or need anything else, just let us know - we're always happy to help! :)
