multiple vaults in previous versions of 1password

I am a new 1password user and have an environment with machines running versions 3, 4 and 5 - I would like to set up multiple vaults but am not sure if the version 3 machines will work as it appears this feature was first available in version 4. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how to do it?

    Hi @bobcorn,

    You're correct - support for multiple vaults was added in 1Password 4, so unfortunately you won't be able to use multiple vaults in version 3. You can choose to sync one of your vaults with 1Password 3 via Dropbox sync.
