Hi @karyn_aol
Welcome to 1Password! We try to provide timely customer support, whether you're new or a long-time customer. And we do have limited telephone support, however, I suspect you'll be able to get this resolved on your own with just a bit of assistance from us right here.
So, you have two iOS devices and an iMac. If you purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store, you can use iCloud to sync your data. If you downloaded or purchased from us, you'll want to use either wi-fi sync or Dropbox. For a good overview of choosing the right sync method for your setup, please see our support page on choosing a sync method. That page has links on how to properly enable sync on both iOS devices and desktop Macs. Give it a read, and I'll bet you'll be able to start syncing in no time!

OK, I will start again. It is on my Mac, I downloaded it from the Mac app store, but don't remember paying for it. Let me start there. But please stay with me.

Of course, @karyn_aol! Either myself or one of my colleagues will be happy to see you through to the end of this, until everything's working correctly. :-)

Hello @karyn_aol,
Just to let you know, that if you were to go to the menu option 1Password > About 1Password it will let you know exactly what version you are running. It will either say AgileBits Store or Mac App Store. If it says Mac App Store then you will have purchased it as it is the only way to have access to that version. Apple don't want time-limited trials in their store so it's either free or has a price.
So at a guess your vault in on your iOS devices at the moment. Am I correct in assuming that those two are synchronising? If they are then we can confirm how by opening 1Password for iOS on one of those devices and looking in Settings > Sync. The top line will say Sync Service and if you are syncing it will say how on the right hand side of that line. So it might say iCloud or Dropbox.
Now how to proceed on your Mac will be partly on where we are there. When you launch 1Password do you get a Welcome to 1Password screen that looks like this?
If you do then clicking the Awesome! Let's Get Started button in the bottom right hand corner should allow you to proceed as per this page in our guide, Running 1Password for the first time. From there our pages on Using existing 1Password data on a new computer should guide you through the process but if you have any issues we will of course help you.
If you have created a new and empty vault on your Mac that you want to connect your iOS devices to that is a slightly different state. If this is what has happened it will mean you will hopefully remember having gone through steps in selecting a Master Password and using that Master Password unlocks 1Password to an empty vault with none of your data in it. I'm currently leaning towards this being the less likely scenario but even if it is the case that's fine, we can help.
So at the moment we're still establishing where everything is on your Mac and iOS devices and as we learn more we'll definitely reach a point where we can make sure everything is syncing
