I want to save the login for an app on my Mac. The app does not run in a browser. Is that possible with 1password? I have not seen a possibility how to do so..

I've got the same issue. Using SonicWALL mobile connect and I can't get 1PW to work.

OS X does not use the same architecture as iOS (where 1P for iOS can interact directly with apps that incorporate the AgileBits 1P extension). That means, I'm afraid, you have to use copy and paste to complete app credentials in OS X. To help with that you can of course find the relevant item in 1P mini, wait until it automatically displays then use ⌘O to anchor the item to your desktop. (It's much easier to do than it is to explain!)

    Hi @trenne and @maclemons,

I hope Stephen's answer was helpful for you! Just to reiterate: On a Mac, 1Password can fill your login info on websites by using the 1Password extension you installed in the web browser. But other Mac apps don't have extensions like web browsers do, so there is no direct link between those apps and 1Password. So you would need to copy & paste your info from 1Password into the app. To make it a bit easier, you can use 1Password mini, which is the 1Password icon in the menubar at the top of the screen. We have more information here: 1Password mini

Please let us know if you have more questions about that - we're always happy to help! :)
