cannot unlock app, extension fails to connect, cannot upgrade

Suddenly this is happening when I try to unlock or upgrade the 1Password app. The password DB was not moved.
1Password Version: 3.8.21
Extension Version: 3.9.20
OS Version: 10.10.3
Sync Type: DropBox

@clausmuzak: Sorry for the trouble! There are a few different things that could be going wrong here, so I'll cover each one:
- The 1Password app may simply be damaged on your system. Please drag it to the Trash and download a fresh copy from our website.
- It may be an OS X issue, and in many cases simply restarting your Mac will help...
- ..but you're also a few OS X updates behind, so this may be a good opportunity to install those, and restart your Mac in the process.
