Trying to set up 1PW on my new macbook, says iCloud not enabled--but it is (so roadblock)

even though i have icloud enabled on the new Macbook, trying to launch the 1PW app repeatedly tells me icloud is not enabled on this computer...so I'm stuck before even getting started..


1Password Version: v 4.4.2 (442010) mac app store
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Yosemite 10.10.5
Sync Type: iCloud

    You need to download the (free) upgrade to 1P5—see this knowledge base article:

    What are the requirements to use the new iCloud Sync?
