New passport entry doesn't get saved

I created a passport entry and clicked save. I then click on the Passports tab in the sidebar, and the new entry I just created doesn't show up. I search for the name of the new entry I created and the search results also don't show it. Is there a condition for when a new passport entry is saved?

There should be no problem at all in saving a new passport entry. Please tell us:

• What version of 1P for Mac you are using
• Your OS X version number
• Whether you've had any problem saving any other items in 1Password

I'm sorry you're unable to find the new Passport item you created!

I don't know how a new item could immediately disappear as soon as you click the Save button. Please let us know the information Stephen asked for, as that might help us to understand what's happening. In particular, I'm very curious about whether this has happened for other items you've created, and if it happens again when you try to create another new Passport item (or other type of item).

Also, I apologize if this seems like a silly question, but is there any chance you accidentally clicked the Cancel button instead of the Save button? It seems unlikely, but it would explain the disappearance of that item, so I thought it was worth asking.

I also wonder if it's possible you accidentally deleted that Passport item after creating it? If so, it wouldn't show up in a search for that item, but it should still be in the Trash in 1Password (which you can find at the bottom of the sidebar in the main 1Password app).
