Show more information for previously saved passwords in plugin

The previously saved passwords are quite hard to see, read, or understand. The URL is so truncated I can barely tell what URL it was generated on, and there doesn't seem to be a way to see what date the password was generated on? IIRC there used to be a way to show the date it was saved by holding down option?

    Hi @danielcompton,

Thanks for taking the time to ask us about that - and thanks again for the screenshot, so we can see exactly what you're describing! :)

This is actually a known issue, and the good news is that our developers have already fixed it in a beta version! So, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the fix should be included in the next update (although I don't know exactly when that will be available).

I'm sorry for the inconvenience! If you have more questions about that, please let us know.

    Hi @Drew_AG

I installed the Mac beta and could see the changes. Thanks!.

I'm not quite sure if the granularity on the date formatting is right though? Showing 2 years ago, and the time it was saved without a date seems a little strange.

Also, is there any way to preview the actual password apart from copying it? Also, having a way to preview the password would give you space to show the full date to disambiguate several very old passwords from years ago.

    Thanks,

@danielcompton: Indeed. Definitely room for improvement there! I think you may be right that once a significant amount of time has passed a date might be more useful than hours, minutes, and seconds. There also isn't currently a way to preview...but I'll be honest: while my instinct is to preview them, I'm not sure what I would be looking for. Since these are generated passwords, would you or I actually be able to recognize them? I'm not sure what the value of preview would be, but it's certainly something we can consider. Thanks for the feedback! :)
