Launching Error..
Hello,
I have installed the version from Mac Appstore, after removing an old version I bought from your site, because the Appstore version did not install "on top of it". I removed it with app delete. After installing the version from the Appstore - it crashes asap I open the application..
Process: 1Password [734]
Path: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/AppDelete/*/1Password.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password
Identifier: com.agilebits.onepassword-osx
Version: 5.3 (530029)
App Item ID: 443987910
App External ID: 812056312
Code Type: X86-64 (Native)
Parent Process: ??? [1]
Responsible: 1Password [734]
User ID: 502
I have now even removed appdelete. But it does not help. And the app is not in my app folder, I wanted to try deleting and reinstalling.
Any hints what I could do?

Hi @gaso,
I'm sorry you're having such trouble with the 1Password app! It's possible this problem is an unintended result of using AppDelete to remove the previous copy of 1Password (more on that below). We don't recommend using app cleaning utilities to delete the 1Password app because they can also delete your 1Password data and backup files, and in some cases can cause additional problems.
Just to make sure I understand the problem, it sounds like you try to open the 1Password app but it crashes and gives you the error you included in your message. If so, it looks like the problem is related to a copy of the 1Password app which the crash error says is located here:
/Users/USER/Library/Application Support/AppDelete/*/1Password.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password
That path is showing the 1Password.app file is inside an "AppDelete" folder within ~/Library/Application Support/. You'll need to delete 1Password.app from there by dragging it to the Trash. Then empty the Trash and reboot your Mac. After it restarts, if you have a copy of 1Password.app in the Applications folder, you can try to open that. If you don't have 1Password.app in Applications, you should be able to reinstall it from the Mac App Store.
Does that help? Please let us know how it all goes, thanks!

Thanks for trying to help.
I removed the folder - I even removed AppDelete. Restarted - installed. But the app does not show up in program folder.
When I try to open it I get the same error.
So somehow it installs itself in this path..
Is there something else I could do?
I am thinking of installing the web version again. Removing and installing Appstore version... Would this help?Process: 1Password [407]

@gaso: If you install a fresh copy of 1Password from the App Store, that will at least ensure that the app is in the right place. Go ahead and try that, but be sure not to empty your Trash in case AppDelete moved some support files there that might be needed.
If that doesn't help, the best thing to do will be to generate a diagnostic report and send it to support+forums@agilebits.com so we can look at the logs to determine exactly what is happening:
