    Hello @sjk

Unfortunately it's completely random. I'll take a screenshot when it appears again and will try to understand why. I also had the bug when you could not copy/show previous passwords and one when you print passwords (page's number and date are rotated) .

The last one is sometimes 1password goes crazy and constantly loads passwords in 1password (like it's making an infinite loop, hard to explain), it's taking nearly 100% of CPU (again, randomly but it's linked with when 1password goes crazy)

    Well, quite weird.

    Thanks for your help.

@saphirblanc: Thanks for providing that info! Oddly enough, I've encountered this text flipping bug...but not with 1Password. It actually seems to be an issue with OS X text services, as I (and a few others) have had it happen in a wide variety of apps.

The last one is sometimes 1password goes crazy and constantly loads passwords in 1password (like it's making an infinite loop, hard to explain), it's taking nearly 100% of CPU (again, randomly but it's linked with when 1password goes crazy)

Can you elaborate? Do you mean filling using the browser extension? We actually had an issue with Firefox not too long ago that sounds like what you're describing, so I'd be interested in any details you can provide, in case there's a regression there. Are you using Firefox by any chance?

CPU is going high when I do have 1password and 1password mini enabled and active. I'm using Firefox latest version. When I wrote that it went crazy, CPU was very high and on some folders in 1password where there were no content (and only sub folders for example) this is showing up : http://demo.ovh.eu/download/68f8a30b019f6174ff4762e25544061b/1password.mov when normally no running wheel should appear when the parent folder is empty (so it appears sometimes).

    Thank you,

    Yann

    Hi @saphirblanc,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you about this! I've moved your messages about this issue to a new thread, as it seems to be separate from the problem in the previous discussion.

If I understand, it sounds like the main issue here is the high CPU usage. I'm not sure if that's necessarily related to using Firefox (it could be a coincidence). I noticed in the previous thread that you mentioned you were using 1Password 5 beta 42. The latest is now beta 45 - have you installed that? If you're still using beta 42, please open 1Password and select the Check for Updates option in the 1Password menu, which should find beta 45 and prompt you to install that. Does the new beta make any difference?

In the other thread, you also mentioned this:

I do have two vaults and Folder Sync enabled.

Can you let us know some more details about that? Are both vaults using Folder Sync? Where is Folder Sync pointing (i.e. what's the file path for the .agilekeychain for each vault)? Some more details about your sync setup might be helpful here. Thanks!

Hello @Drew_AG Thanks for your reply.

I've just updated to the latest beta and will tell you if it works better.

Can you let us know some more details about that? Are both vaults using Folder Sync? Where is Folder Sync pointing (i.e. what's the file path for the .agilekeychain for each vault)? Some more details about your sync setup might be helpful here. Thanks!

Only the second one is synced, meanwhile I do have Synology Cloud Station software installed on my Mac which synchronizes my 1Password file to my Synology as we are using the same password file with my team.

    Cheers.

    Hi @saphirblanc,

I've seen a few instances where high CPU usage in 1Password mini is due to sync conflicts that are never resolved, almost always due to a damaged Agile Keychain. Normally deleting the Agile Keychain in question and having 1Password create a new one resolves this so I'm wondering how large the team is given everybody would have to connect to the new one to re-establish syncing.

Part of the cause I believe is although you can successfully sync using Synology's Cloud Station, I believe it doesn't handle conflicts in the exact same way that Dropbox does and that's what we're looking for. So you can happily use Cloud Station for ages and never see an issue but once it occurs 1Password isn't clearing up like it would with Dropbox. I believe this is what is happening and we are looking to see what might be needed to support Synology.

So based on the size of the team and your level of comfort, how would you feel about removing the existing Agile Keychain and creating a new one? We can detail the steps required if needed, that's no problem at all. Assuming it isn't that one copy of 1Password is adding to your troubles I feel confident this should help.
