Problem after migrating to new laptop

I recently migrated 1PW 5 from a MBA to a MBP via a time machine backup, when i attempted to open 1PW on the new machine it stated that 1PW was not on the machine--just the icon. I downloaded again from the Mac App store and when i attempt to open it i am brought to the welcome screen but when i select the awesome lets get started button nothing happens, i am not given the chance to restore from iCloud.

    @rsrich - Can you try that reinstall one more time as follows -

    Open Applications folder.
    Drag 1Password to Trash.
    Empty Trash.
    Restart Mac.
    Go to App Store and re-install 1Password.
