When I use 1Password to log into a website, 1Password will always start two Safari sessions. The first session it will not auto-fill. The second session will auto-fill and then log into the specified website. How do I stop 1Password from initiating two web browser sessions like this?

  • @Jim_Miller - Can you click on the 1Password icon in Safari, unlock if need be, click on the Settings icon, click on 'Open URL in New Tab'. There are 3 choices here -

    • Current Tab
    • New Tab
    • New Window

What do you currently have selected? If you don't want Safari to open a new tab, can you select 'Current Tab'.
