On the assumptions:
- you're using 1P4 or 1P5 for Mac; and
- you are not syncing your 1P data to any other device
make a backup of your disk before you re-install. This knowledge base article will then help you locate and restore your 1P data from your backup:
Where does 1Password store its data?

Hi @Dangoy,
I'm very glad you're thinking ahead about this! Backups are extremely important, and you can never have too many. ;)
Hopefully Stephen's reply was helpful. You should definitely make sure you have copies of your 1Password backup files saved somewhere, even if you have a full backup of your Mac. The location of those backup files is in the link from Stephen's reply, but an easy way to find them is to open the main 1Password app and go to the menu option for 1Password > Preferences, then select the Backup tab and click the Show Files button. In the folder that opens, you'll see all your 1Password backup files, and you can copy those to a backup drive.
If you need anything else, please let us know! :)
