1Password can't open Mini, I've done everything suggested

1Password displays an "The system launched an incorrect version of 1Password mini. Instead of '/Applications/1Password 5.app/Contents/LoginItems' it started '/private/var/folders..." error message, then the app locks up and has to be force quit.

I did a Spotlight search and found only one copy of 1Password.
I downloaded the 1Password app from your website, deleted the old app, and replaced it with the new app - version 5.3.2.
I am running El Capitan.

I use 1Password all day every day and desperately need it to work! Help!

    Fixed! Restarted my computer and 1Password works! But if I quit and restart the app, it goes back to the same error.

    Hello @mnichols0,

    It's very unusual to see that as the location for another copy of 1Password mini as we should be cleaning up after ourselves when you perform an update of 1Password. I'm going to contact you shortly via email as this is sufficiently complex that we don't want people trying it without being sure of what they're doing.
