    Hello @cpuklutz,

I've read your post a couple of times but sadly I'm struggling to visualise the problem. Could you perhaps describe in a little more detail please or if it wouldn't show anything personal maybe a screenshot to help? We definitely want to help but as I say, I just can't picture the issue at the moment.

. . . last post you unceremoniously shut me off ! ! ! Whenever I bring up 1Password from the icon on my iMAC 10.11 menubar, and access "logons", a window pops up but can't open up assigned password for a particular site, it's always **********. How to see what the password assigned is, as can hardly ever double click on a selected 1Password logon and have it sign me on to the site.

You don't normally have to see the password. From the menu bar without opening the mini window cmd-\ will enter the password if you are already on a web page and there is only one password for the page. Or open the mini window and click on the relevant login. Or open the mini window, select the login, and in the larger window that opens, where the password is shown, choose "reveal" instead of the default "copy".

Or is there an issue that isn't solved by any of these suggestions.

    Hi @cpuklutz,

By default, your passwords are concealed as an extra layer of protection, so they appear as dots. Simply hold down the Option key on your keyboard to temporarily see the passwords (this works in both 1Password mini and the main 1Password app). If you want to always see your passwords instead of the dots, go to the View menu in the main 1Password app, then disable the option for Conceal Passwords. A third (possibly less convenient) option is to hover your mouse over the password field, click the arrow next to "copy", and choose "Reveal".

Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you need anything else. Thanks! :)
