I bought iPassword thru MacUpdate Bundle with a license number. How do I update to the latest version and enter license no?

    @wudchip

    MacUpdate has always issued me a license number. I just checked and I have a 1Password 3 license key from 2010 in an email from them.

    You would use that number in the upgrade section for license keys and check available pricing etc. https://agilebits.com/store/upgrade

    I was unable to process my key from MacUpdate using the checker, I can only assume this is due to the fact AgileBits has no knowledge of those keys when used in mass promotions, that it caused the update check to fail.

    So I don not know if upgrade pricing is available, this may be best asked of the staff. Currently with the on going sale you are very near upgrade pricing as it stands. I was able to enter another key of mine and check upgrade pricing. It is slightly less than the current sale price.

    Having said that the current price in the web store is $29.99. And if your thinking of upgrading now may be the time. You see if you wish to move to the Mac App Store version and gain iCloud syncing, this would be the best opportune time to do that. According to my checking the upgrade price would be very similar to the on sale price now. Actually I think there is a $5.00 difference. So for $5.00 you could gain iCloud syncing.

    I say that because the Mac App Store does not allow upgrade pricing. So you would need to pay the default price.

    I do not know when the sale will end. There is no need to change if your happy. I continue to use Dropbox to this day. Its just a great time to make the change should you wish to do so.

    More info here https://support.1password.com/sync-options/

    Notes : iCloud syncing is not available on Windows, android etc, iCloud syncing is only available for the primary vault, secondary vaults must be synced via Dropbox or wifi. All Macs and iOS devices must be later models, iCloud syncing will not work with some previous versions.
