Sharing another persons iPassword

A friend wants to share their 1Password information with me as a backup when they travel and may not have computer access. What is the best way to do this? Can I open a second user's vault in 1Password on my MAC?

    You could do that if your friend syncs the data to Dropbox and then shares the file with you. You can read more about doing that in this part of the user guide: Share a vault.
