Import software license from Wallet produced odd results

Hello, I'm trying to move over all my data from Wallet. I imported my logins with no issues using the tutorial here:

https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/22708/importing-acrylic-wallet-data-into-1password

But when I used the same tutorial to import my software licenses, the import was "successful" but the data is not mapped properly. Please see attached images and you'll see what I mean.

    Hi @pablofrijole,

The CSV importer for 1Password for OS X can only accept one record type per CSV file. It can import Logins, Credit Cards, Software Licenses, and Secure Notes. Each of these types has their own column requirements. You'll have to split your original Wallet export into as many as 4 separate CSV files, each containing only the specific import type. Then, you have to remove all records whose category does not match the intended CSV import category (e.g. place Logins in one CSV file, Credit Card entries in another, etc.). Then, you import each file separately, specifying the type of CSV import in the 1Password import dialog.

I can see from your screen shot you've imported your serial number items as Login entries. Be sure to select the Software License type in the CSV import dialog.

Acyrlic Wallet's Serial Numbers category only has a few fields, and 1Password's Software License category has many more stock fields.

Be sure all the columns in the CSV are arranged according to the guide in the link above.

As I've mentioned in a couple of other posts, I would be happy to create a converter for Acrylic Wallet, but their data format is insufficient to automate such a conversion.

Thanks for the feedback! I spent a lot of time separating the CSV files and making sure they were in the correct column format that I completely missed the "Import As" drop down when selecting the CSV file. Doh! I tried it again with my software licenses and it worked like a charm.

    Thank you!
