Finding 1Pasword files in backup

Hello,

My macbook pro went into panic mode when updating to el capitan, thus all my files had to restored from an external hard drive. How do I find my 1password data to be restored when I've re-downloaded the app?

Many thanks,

Jim.

It would help to know what version of 1P you were running. However, assuming it was either 1P4 or 1P5 this knowledge base article should help you:

Where does 1Password store its data?

Note it's important to know whether you bought the Mac App Store version of 1P or the AgileBits store version because the answer differs depending upon that.

    Hi @Jim_Ando,

I'm sorry to hear about the problem you had when installing El Capitan! Fortunately you had a backup of your files. Did the link from Stephen's message help you find your 1Password data? Primarily, what you would want to look for is the backup files listed under the "Backups" section of that article.

If you need more help with that, please let us know! :)
