.agilekeychain to OPVault

In the instructions for switching from the .agilekeychain to OPVault, there is a terminal command: defaults write 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword4-helper useOPVaultFormatByDefault true.

I currently have version 5 installed. Should the terminal command ...onepassword4-helper... reflect that?

  • Hey @matthewhigley! That is indeed the current version of the Terminal command. The helper retains the name of 1Password 4 because the upgrade from 4 to 5 was free for our users and the structure of things is similar between the two. If you want to switch to the OPVault, that defaults write domain is the correct one. So long as you follow the steps in our OPVault switching guide, you should be all set. Let us know if you have any other questions about it! :)
