Can you please tell us exactly what you mean when you say Safari "migrates" your 1Password each time Safari is started. What are you seeing when you start Safari, and what do you expect to see?

When you post again, Please tell us:

  • Hey @ken345 As Stephen_C mentioned, we'll need to know a few more details on what you mean by migrating. Did you recently upgrade from 1Password 3 to 5? What version are you currently using?

Hi all, I have been using 1Password 5 for quite some time on my iMac running ElCapitan but recently upon opening Safari for the first time each session I get a message saying "Safari has migrated your extensions. Go to the Preferences and select Extensions........." and there I check the Enable box. Everything works correctly until the next time I awaken the computer and then I must repeat the process once more.
Yesterday I came across a post from a year ago on a similar topic and tried the approach therein. Basically I needed to remove a few library files and restart Safari. That did the job and the all is okay once again. In thinking back a few weeks when this all began, I did make some changes to my Keychain and that apparently created the problem.
Thanks for you help. I really appreciate having a resource where I can go to ask questions
