Instead of '/Applications/1Password 5.app/Contents/LoginItems' it started '~/Applications/1Password 5.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems'.

That means you have a copy of 1Password 5 in the Applications folder inside your home folder (the tilde represents /Users/your username). If you also have 1Password 5 in /Applications you may begin to see conflicts in syncing. You can move 1Password 5 to the main Applications folder so there is only one copy on your computer. I believe AgileBits recommends putting 1Password 5 in the main Applications folder.

1P should be installed in your user Applications folder (which is where it will normally install unless you intervene to install it somewhere else). It sounds as though you have two copies of 1P—which will be either on your Mac's principal disk or, maybe, one on that disk and another on a disk which is permanently attached to your Mac. The solution is to delete the rogue app and just to leave the one that's in your user Applications folder. (Doing that won't interfere with your 1P data so long as you delete only the rogue app and don't use any app cleaner tool when you do so.)

A Spotlight search on your Mac may help you to find the rogue copy.

If you need more help please post again as I've given only general guidance here.

@TMIKITA I answered your post and then found the duplicate thread with the other reply. To make things easier—both for support and you—I've merged the two threads. It's better to post only one thread per problem.
