Nobody Knows the Installation Troubles I've Seen
I was attempting to launch the program after installation and received the following message: 1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini
I recently installed Norton Internet Security, however the firewall is set to allow communication from the program, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
1Password Version: 5.4 (newest one)
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.11
Sync Type: Dropbox
Referrer: kb:error-connect-to-mini

BTW I reinstalled the program and rebooted to no avail.

Please try the suggestion in this AgileBits post.
If that doesn't work, when you post again please tell us exactly what version of 1P for Mac you are using (critically, including whether you bought it from the AgileBits store or from the Mac App Store).
