I want one piece of software that will run and update across I-mac el capitan, I pad and I phone6. I am not clear if 1password does this, which versions and the software cost. Please help me research this. [email redacted]

1PW is sold per OS, so you would need 1PW for Mac and 1PW for iOS.
The iOS version is free in its basic form, with an in-app purchase.
The Mac version is, I believe currently on sale. You have the choice of buying from the Mac App Store or direct from AgileBits. If you want iCloud sync you MUST buy from the App Store. If you want reducing pricing on any paid upgrade, you have to buy direct, as Apple does not permit upgrade pricing.
Dropbox sync is available on all platforms, and most people find it as good as, if not better than, iCloud sync.
