@aww: Correct. As MikeT mentioned, we're testing a fix for this in the beta version of 1Password for Windows; I expect that similar changes will show up in the Mac betas first, since 5.4 was in development prior to this issue.

This is a MJAOR Problem, Its know since at least six weeks. It effects every single login that is created and it basically means that the software is not working. Why does it take that long to fix this , it affects every customer ?

@aww: I've moved you to a separate discussion in the Mac category of the forums, since it sounds like you're using that version.

This is a MJAOR Problem, Its know since at least six weeks.

Indeed. But 1Password for Mac 5.4 was already well into development at that time, so rather than delay that release further (and possibly introduce new issues), we'll need to fix it in the next.

It effects every single login that is created and it basically means that the software is not working.

It affects only logins where you've used the extension to fill a generated password. In that case, you won't receive an autosave prompt. However, in the mean time you can save the login manually instead.

Why does it take that long to fix this , it affects every customer ?

It takes as long as it takes. We want to be sure we don't break anything else in the process, otherwise we're all no better off. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Any time! I'm really sorry that this is affecting you (and others), but we want to be extra careful to avoid causing you or anyone else any more trouble. Thanks for your patience!
