Same Maser PW on iOS and osx via iCloud does not work
Just bought 1PW5 and installed it on my Mac. When I launched it for the first time, data where found via iCloud (because I started via iOS on my iPad a few days ago) a the master PW was requested to open the found data. I filled in exactly THE SAME PW like on my iPad, but it doesn't work??? I tried it many times but can only open my data on my iPad. Whats going wrong???

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password. Out of curiosity, have you used 1Password at any time prior to this? I'm wondering if 1Password might be finding some old or out-of-date data in iCloud. Please follow the steps in our support article: How to reset iCloud data and start fresh.

No, it's a brand new first time installation.
Meanwhile I changed the Masterpassword to a more easy one and now it works.
Prior I had a "!" included which was fine for iOS, but not for OS X version.

I'm so glad to hear you got things straightened out, although the ! should have been an allowable character. We recommend ASCII characters only for your Master Password (which does include normal punctuation.)
Now, as you're getting used to 1Password, I think it's important to note that we can create a password that is both simple to remember (and type) and secure. It's kind of like a triple-whammy. Have you tried Diceware passwords? You can read a little bit about them in our blog post: Towards Better Master Passwords, and you can even create passwords from our very own wordlist in the latest version of 1Password for iOS. (Don't worry, we're working on bringing this feature to Mac as well.)
