Options for moving from website version to app store version?

I have been using 1password since version 1.x, and would really like to move to the app store version. I have a couple of questions about it:
1. Are there any limitations in the App Store version that are not in the website version?
2. I don't want to pay again for the full product. Do you have any options for long time supporters to move to the version that uses iCloud (and therefore OPVault by default) without buying it full price on the Mac App Store?
Thank You!

I concur ... I'd like to use iCloud to sync, not Dropbox. This should be an option, "FREE" option.

    Hi @ebernet & @tesar861,

I'll quickly answer the easy one first. There are no real limitations in the Mac App Store version that don't exist in the AgileBits Store version. The only significant difference between the two is that the Mac App Store can access the CloudKit framework which is what is required for iCloud Sync. This is why the AgileBits Store version cannot - only apps or applications that were obtained from one of Apple's stores are allowed to do so.

Unfortunately there is no mechanism to offer a discount or free copy of the Mac App Store. We have these sort of options available to us in our AgileBits Store because we have total control. Apple's stores don't have a way to discount a licence so we're limited to when we have sales on like we have on right now. Should this change we would of course consider all options available to us but for now our hands our tied.

I'm may both have questions so please do post if you do.
