Unable to sync using WiFi

When I try to sync the iMac and the iPhone it says "Sync started" and after a while I get the message: "Sync Problem - The operation couldn't be completed."; More Info: "Sync Problem - Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=57 "Socket is not connected”.
