So what am I doing wrong? This seems clunky.
I moved over my pwsafe & LastPass databases to 1Password. If I command-\ to fill a password, it doesn't always find the right one. Not a problem.
But what happens is:
- I hit command-\ to bring up 1P.
- I search and then there are a few results, so I pick one
- It then tries to open a new Safari window (and often fails because it has just the login, not the password)
I'd expect command-\ to offer the option to fill on the current page. But in fact, there is no way to get that - if I context on the search result, I can go in and edit it, but not fill the browser.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. LastPass pre-filled the browser, or you could context-select from a field. 1Password seems to be "we open the page for you or you can't use us" which can't be right...can it?

Hi @raindog308,
I'm very happy to hear you switched to 1Password! Sorry you're having a little trouble with the browser extension, but I'm sure we'll be able to figure out what's happening.
Normally, 1Password should fill the login form on the page you're currently viewing instead of opening a new window. If that's not working for a certain site/Login item, try saving a new Login item for that site by following the steps in this knowledgebase article.
Does the new Login item work correctly? Let us know how it goes, thanks!
