already have 1password on my iPhone and iPad. i want it for desktop, is it still full price?

hi, i already have purchased iPhone and iPad versions of the app. I now want to get it on my new iMac - i watched a video tutorial on the 1password app for desk top by David A Cox. He says on the video that when you buy it for desktop you get it free for all your other devices. But what if you already bought it for other devices? Do you get it at a reduced rate for desktop? I am a student too if that makes any difference.

    You have to buy the desktop version. It's on sale at present.

    You can decide whether to buy direct from AgileBits or through the Mac App Store. Only the App Store allows iCloud sync, but Dropbox sync, which is available on all versions, is as good. Only the direct version will be able to offer a discount should there be a paid upgrade.

    Hey @CARYNSTRINGER. :)

    As danco already mentioned, 1Password is licensed per platform, so while a purchase of the Pro features on iOS will unlock them on all of your iOS devices, it's not possible to transfer that purchase over to Mac. You'll need a separate Mac license for your OS X devices.

    That said, with a .edu email address, you'll certainly qualify for our educational discount. That should help out with the price.
