If by "one password," you mean having the 1Password application on all those devices, you would need to download 1Password for OS X (Mac) from the Mac App Store if you want iCloud syncing, or from the AgileBits web store if Dropbox, Wi-Fi, or folder syncing among your devices will suit you to keep your data up to date on all the devices. One license for Mac will cover you and up to five other family members living in the same household for all the Macs you collectively use. If you get the license from Apple at the Mac app store, this will mean that both laptops will need to be using the same Apple ID for the Mac App Store, or all family members will need to be members of the same Family Sharing group. If you buy from AgileBits, you will just apply the license file you receive to each copy.
Then you would also need to download a copy for iOS to your iOS devices. That's free so long as you are happy with the basic version of the application, but the more advanced Pro features will require that you buy access through an in-app purchase. That purchase will allow you to use the advanced features on all iOS devices that use the same Apple ID. In-app purchases are not able to use Family Sharing, though, so if other family members who use different Apple IDs need the Pro features, they will also have to buy access.
This article from the support site discusses this in more detail, but be sure to ask if you have other questions or if I have misunderstood what you need to know.
