Cannot sync 1password on additional devices (new computer or iphone)

I was using a personal laptop (MacBook Pro) for work and started with a 1Password5 account. I purchased the Mac app. I'm attempting now to log into that 1Password account on my work laptop(MacBook Air) and iPhone 6Plus. On my iPhone I get an error message that says "No 1Password data was found on iCloud". On my work MacBook Air the iCloud sync button goes away; if I'm quick enough, I can select it, and get the message about ensuring iCloud is enabled. I click that button and am brought to the system preferences page where iCloudDrive is enabled, and within the Options button, I see 1Password Mini, which is checked.

  • @storer - We have a great support article here that explains the requirements for iCloud sync. On your Macs you need 1Password 5 from Mac App Store as well as at least Mac OS X 10.10.
Here is another guide for setting up iCloud sync on your Macs. Please let us know if this helps.
