Doesn't matter where I try it, from Chrome Settings, from AgileBits website, or from my 1Password app, when I try to install the 1Pass extension for Chrome, my computer crashes and goes to the login screen. Please help!!!!

    Hi @makdaddy,

You're not kidding! Even though I can reproduce what I'm not seeing is anything definitive as to why.

Here's a snippet from my log

kernel[0]: Google Chrome He (map: 0xffffff8027e1ed20) triggered DYLD shared region unnest for map: 0xffffff8027e1ed20, region 0x7fff89200000->0x7fff89400000. While not abnormal for debuggers, this increases system memory footprint until the target exits.
I see this entry a couple of times but you tend to see it a lot when Chrome is running so it's not as unusual as you think.

com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.ReportCrash.Root[960]) Endpoint has been activated through legacy launch(3) APIs. Please switch to XPC or bootstrap_check_in(): com.apple.ReportCrash.DirectoryService
Nothing obvious here or not to me anyway.

kernel[0]: gfx: gfx: UpdateTraces: Enabling traces.
    followed by
loginwindow[799]: ERROR | -[LoginApp windowServerExited] | Window Server exited, closing down the session immediately

Now this last one is when I get kicked out, just like you're experiencing. I was really hoping for a smoking gun, something to help identify what went wrong but the couple of entries just prior to it don't scream massive issue or anything obvious. Despite this it will crash more often than not. You'll notice I didn't say it crashes all the time as the third time I was trying this it successfully installed the extension!

Then I tried installing our current 1Password 5 extension and that did the same! I'm a fan of Ghostery and that did the same! I'm beginning to think the issue, at least for me is Google Chrome rather than our extension as I know this extension has successfully installed in the past with no issue. So I would be interested to know if you find similar, is it just the 1Password 3 Chrome Extension or is it all extensions that are having this problem?
