Deceased individual didn't leave her password

My daughter recently passed away but didn't leave her main password for her husband. We got hints when we put some guesses into the box but never were able to guess it correctly. Is there any way of opening the file or finding the password or are we SOL?

    First, I'm really sorry for what you must be going through. I'm afraid there is no way for you to access your daughter's 1Password data without her 1Password master password. The only consolation is that 1Password will let you try guessing and entering the master password any number of times without locking you out from further attempts.

    My most sincere condolences to you! I wish I had some better news for you here, but Stephen is right. One of the security features of 1Password is that there is no way around the Master Password. This makes it really secure, but frustrating in cases like this. As Stephen says though, there is no timeout, so you can continue to guess as many passwords as you can think of.
