Secure Notes missing "note"

Went to check some info in a secure note today and found out all my notes are gone, that is the text I put in the note is gone. All of the Notes are there just no content in the Note. Have been using 1 Password for a couple of years and always update to the latest versions, same with my Mac OS and IOS iPad and iPhone . Checked my backups and the Note content disappeared about 6 weeks ago (on September 12th.) The note content is gone from my 3 Macs and 2 IOS devices all synched thru iCloud.
Is there a way to restore the notes without hand copying the info from the backup and rendering it into Secure Notes again?

1Password Version: 5.4
Extension Version: 4.4.3
OS Version: OS X 10.11
Sync Type: iCloud

@dave_s33: DO you mean that all of the contents (the body text, in the Notes section) of your Secure Note items are missing? Are there any that are exceptions?

Do you happen to be syncing your data with devices using old versions of 1Password? It may be that you're 'missing' information because the old version doesn't know how to read (or write) some of the new sections. The more you can tell me about the various OS, 1Password, and device versions you're using and how you're syncing them, the better. Thanks in advance! :)

The only exception was a secure note that had the phone number field populated, the phone numbers were still there. The note field in all of the secure notes were blank. All hardware was running the current versions of 1 Password and their respective operating systems. I install all updates as soon as they are available. I don't know which version of 1 Password was running on my hardware or which OS was installed at the time the notes "disappeared." As I stated in my initial post the notes disappeared some time between September 12th and October 22nd, several 1 Password updates and Mac OS updates occurred during this period.

In the mean time I came up with my own solution for restoring my Secure Notes. I opened 1 Password on one computer, turned off syncing and restored a version of 1 Password that had my Secure Notes intact. I then copied and pasted all the text in the notes to a text document. Next I restored 1 Password to the most recent backup then copied and pasted the text from the text document back into the appropriate Secure Note. Lastly I did a backup and turned the iCloud syncing back on. This pushed all the missing notes to all my devices running 1 Password. What a pain in the ass! Hope this helps anyone else that runs into the same issue.

Still love 1 Password, keep up the great work.

@dave_s33: Even just a guess would help, since yours is more likely to be correct than mine. Other than one Yosemite Mac and an unknown quantity of iOS devices, I have no idea what you're working with.

Now, you may not think it matters, and I'd very much like for you to be right about that...

Indeed. That does sounds like an ordeal. I'm glad you got your notes...but my concern is that we still have no idea what happened in the first place, and as a result I worry that it may happen again. It's entirely up to you, of course: if you're satisfied to have your notes back and make copious backups going forward just in case. But I'm more than happy to work with you on this to solve the mystery. :innocent:
