I recently had to redownload 1Password because of a hard drive crash. The new version has now expired. It seems to want 30.00 for me to upgrade, which I think is excessive for being one of the original paid owners. Is there a way for me to download the version I had rather than this newer version without spending THIRTY dollars?

Thanks
TH

Were you using 1PW 3? If so, it is still available in the Legacy section towards the bottom of the Downloads page. What version of Mac OS are you using. 1PW3 does still work onEl Capitan, but is old enough that it may have problems.

If you were using 1PW 4 (and had paid for it) then 1PW5 is a free upgrade, but you would need to apply the licence, it would not be automatic.

    Hi @oceantracks,

I see that you do have a license for version 3, and you can install that, as danco mentioned, from our Downloads page.

However, while v3 does technically "work" for most purposes in El Capitan, I wouldn't recommend it because we've learned of a pretty annoying glitch or two. You can, however, use your v3 license key to get a great upgrade discount on a v5 license in our upgrade store.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions. :)
