I updated my El Capitan to 10.11.1 today, and it broke 1Password. I tried some suggestion via instruction from @1Password on Twitter, but got stalled out. The last thing was to open a Terminal window and paste a command. When I opened that window, there was already some writing in there about last log in, and I wasn't sure whether to delete that, or type after that. I'm really wary of fooling around with that kind of thing anyway. So for a guy who has enough system knowledge only to be dangerous, could anyone help? I purchased my 1Password through the website. Thanks.

    Hi @haunted59,

I hope you don't mind I've split your comment into a separate thread because we don't have enough information yet to know whether you're having the same issue as the user who wrote the other post about El Capitan, so it's better to treat them as separate issues to avoid confusion.

I apologize for our delay in response here. I found your twitter conversation, and I'm still having a bit of trouble understanding the full situation that might be causing the problem, so I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report to give us a clearer view of how 1Password is set up on your Mac, and hopefully illuminate the source of the trouble.

Please follow the instructions here to create the report, and when you get to step 7, please attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and expedite a response. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

I've answered your email, so let's continue the conversation there to avoid getting our wires crossed. Cheers!
