I have both the app store & web version premium which should I keep? Which will be more beneficial?

I have both it seems the browser plug ins only work with the app store version but I prefer the web version as it is easier to sync and doesn't lose any data!

I think I need to delete one is that correct? If so what do you recommend - I AM A HEAVY USER.

Also I would like to know how to export the back ups so that they are actionable or can be used to restore other 1PASS accounts on my other comps?

1Password Version: 1pass5 & Web (latests)

    Hi @ashihadah,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us :+1:

The Mac App Store and the Web Store versions of 1Password are very very similar, and here are the main differences between the the Mac App Store and the web store versions:

    Mac App Store

1Password 5 for Mac from the Mac App Store can perform iCloud sync, while the web store version can't. For more details, please go to our Why does iCloud require at least iOS 8, OS X 10.10, and the Mac App Store? support article.

    Web Store

You can easily opt in and out of the betas on the web store: See Preferences > Updates and toggle the "Include beta builds" checkbox.

The choice is a matter of personal preference. However, we strongly recommend that you only keep a single copy of 1Password on your Mac.

    Hope that this helps

    Cheers!
