How do I know if I'm using OPVault or AgileKeychain?
Because of the recent flurry of articles regarding 1 Password data security, I'm trying to figure out if my data is vulnerable or not. HOW do I determine if I'm using OPVault or AgileKeychain on Dropbox?
1Password Version: 5.4.1
Extension Version: 4.4.4
OS Version: 10.10.5
Sync Type: Dropbox

When you look in your local Dropbox folder, what do you see? Your data may reside i a 1Password folder there. If the files representing your vaults have an extension of .opvault, you're using that version of the database. If it has an extension of .agilekeychain, it is the AgileKeychain format.
Note that these "files" are actually packages, which themselves contain your vaults.
My Primary vault shows itself to be 1Password.opvault.
It may put your mid at ease about using the AgileKeychain if you read this sticky post from the very top of this section of the forum.

Hi @chppio,
Thank you for taking the time to ask us about that! The first thing I'd like to mention is that using the Agile Keychain format for Dropbox sync does not mean your data is vulnerable. Please make sure you take a look at the sticky post that hawkmoth mentioned (i.e. the link in his reply), as that will help to clear up some confusion about all that. As it says in that post, the "Agile Keychain format keeps your sensitive data safe."
As hawkmoth explained, you can simply check your sync file in Dropbox to see if it's a .agilekeychain or .opvault file. You can also see that in the sync settings for each vault in the 1Password app (Preferences > Sync) when you look at the file path for the sync file.
If you would like to switch to the OPVault sync format, you can do that by following the steps here: Switching to OPVault from Agile Keychain
As it explains in that article, you'll need to be using the latest versions of 1Password, as older versions did not support OPVault. (If you're not sure, just let us know the version(s) of 1Password you have installed on other devices/computers.)
Hopefully this helps, but if you have more questions or need anything else, just let us know! :)
