Open on neutral/blank screen when unlocking?
Dear AgileBits,
Is it possible to have the 1password app open on an empty screen when unlocking? Current behavior is opening the last visited category/item. This means that, if I unlock the app with someone looking over my shoulder, which actually happens a lot at my job, they get a nice view of my secure notes if I forgot to close them the last time I edited them.
Could you possibly add an option to open the app on a neutral or blank page after unlocking?
1Password Version: 5.4
Extension Version: 4.4.2
OS Version: 10.11
Sync Type: iCloud

Hey @md205! Thanks for taking the time to post this suggestion. I can definitely see how it would be helpful in your case. 1Password actually does have an option to conceal passwords, and it's enabled by default. If yours isn't enabled for some reason, you can switch it on by going to Preferences > Security and checking the Conceal passwords box.
If you have other types of sensitive information you don't want to be seen by people who might be standing near you, we've had a few requests for concealing other types of info in the app so I would be happy to add your suggestion to that as well. Just let me know what kind of info you'd like to also see concealed in a future update.
The 1Password Mini app (accessed quickly from the menu bar or with the
⌘ Option \
shortcut) is also a great option for what you're doing because it opens a stripped-down interface of 1Password. While all the item names are displayed, none of their info is until you hover over it. :) You can access this by using the browser extension or menu bar app as previously mentioned. It seems like it will be the best fit for what you're doing.Hope that helps!
