"Trial Expired" after I transferred my App Store version to the Web Store version. Need my license?
Hey there!
Love 1Password, by the way. It has saved me so much brain-power and worry since I first started using it.
Recently, because I switched jobs, and my new employer uses their own Apple ID, I had to switch from the App Store version, to the Web Store version as described here: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-mac-kb/5/en/topic/migrating-from-mas-to-web. This worked perfectly. However, this morning when I logged in, 1 Password 5 says my "Trial Expired" and prompts me to purchase a license. I'm thinking that because I never had 1 Password (App Store) installed on this machine, I never had a license on this machine. So when I switched, it just gave me the trial.
I tried resending my license using the form throughout the support site, but my Apple ID email doesn't seem to produce anything.
This issue make sense? 1 Password is still functioning for now, but I want to make sure I take care of the issue soon.
Thanks.

Hey @Overwine!
Yes, that's what happened - our version of 1Password 5 for Mac will recognize a Mac App Store license...but it can't read minds. The way it does that is by looking for the previous presence of the Mac App Store version. If you never had the Mac App Store version installed, then yeah -- you're on the 30-day trial, at least as far as 1Password can tell.
Fortunately, that's quite easily solved, and you've come to the right place to do it, too. :-) If you'll send a copy of your Mac App Store receipt for 1Password for Mac to support+license@agilebits.com and mention or link to this thread, we'll be happy to create a license so you can use our version at your office. :-)
