One Pasword not working on OS x 10.11.

After instaling OS X 10.11. one password is not working anymore! I deleeted everything from OP on the mac! And also tried as listed on your homepage. I got one password over the mac app store. And when i try to open it says it can't connect to one password mini, which I deleeted but still comes open in the menuebar. what can I do?

    @robin_raw: I think I may be misunderstanding something. It sounds like you tried to remove all traces of 1Password from your Mac, but you're surprised that it isn't working. Is that correct?

    You can always download a fresh copy of the app from our website, and then install the browser extension as well. Just be sure to remove any duplicate copies of the app, otherwise OS X might launch the wrong copy of 1Password mini.

    ok I'll try to explain.
    1. I removed erverything from 1password I found on the computer so that I could install it again from the mac app store instead of just open (which didn't work previously)
    2. I press install at the mac app store button in the list of items I allready bought
    3. it tries to install (button on the launch pad visible)
    4. I press the button in the launchpad and it tries to open
    5. it says: error, unable to connect 1password with 1password mini (like it previously did)
    6. what should I do? I allready tried all the steps listed on your webpage.....

    Hey @robin_raw,

    Thanks for the update and details. Have you ensured you don't have multiple copies of 1Password installed? Even though you just installed the Mac App Store version, there could be another version from the past. Just in case, could you check your Applications and Downloads folders to make sure you only have one copy of the app installed? That's the usual cause of this issue. If that doesn't help, could you please take a look at this guide and let us know if it helps?
