I still get an error message after removing multiple 1Password apps. What can I do next?

I checked out the online solutions for this error, but none of them apply to me. Not sure if this is an issue with the specific version of 1Password, Mac OS edition, etc? Anybody else run into this out there?

Would you please tell us the exact text of the error message? If you'd like to add a screen shot, which is always helpful, you can do that by using the last icon on the right about the box where you type your post.

@jasoneleson: Now, it probably won't help with your problem, but you should probably update OS X while you're at it to get the latest security and stability fixes (to 10.10.5 at the very least, if not 10.11).

But unfortunately OS X decides which copy of 1Password mini to launch, so if there are more than one it will often launch the wrong one — which sounds like that's the issue you're having. Often simply doing a Spotlight search will help you track them down, and then you can simply drag any duplicates to the Trash, restart your Mac, and you'll be good to go. Please let us know how it turns out! :)
