RE Switching to OPVault from Agile Keychain

If there are 2 users on one machine and I do this for one user, how does it affect the other user?

    @newikner: Running the Terminal command will simply enable OPVault as the default format for new vaults. If that's all you do, it will not impact the other user (unless they create more vaults). Similarly, their existing vault will not change unless they convert it as well. I hope this helps! :)

    Just FYI, When I actually started to do this for the second user I found that I had to run the "defaults write" terminal command again within the second user's login for it to work.

  • @newikner Yep, that's correct. The preferences are stored on a per-user basis to keep the installations of 1Password separate. ;)
